Open Data Cube Introduction & related Tasks

In this session, participants will be introduced to the Open Data Cube (ODC) platform for the dissemination and use of satellite data. We will demonstrate how to query satellite data, and how to handle the resulting xarray objects. Furthermore, we will discuss the extent of Earth Observation data available in the ODC environment of the Swedish Space Datalab project, over Sweden and its immediate environment. In addition, we will address frequently asked questions about the ODC environment, and the challenges offered in said environment, collected before the webinar. The webinar will be based on Jupyter Notebooks available in a JupyterHub running on the SSDL Kubernetes cluster.
